The stage area must be of sufficient strength to support the Band and their equipment.

Vehicle Access

The Band must be able to unload their vehicle(s) within 50m of the performance area. The route from the unloading area to the performance area must be unobstructed. In the event that the Band are unable to unload within 50 metres of the performance area, have to negotiate more than two flights of stairs, doors/gates that are too narrow for their equipment or other similar obstructions, additional fees may be applied. All access roads and entry points must be suitable for a large, long wheelbase, high-top van. No height restrictions below 2.7 metres should be in place to allow access for the Band’s vehicles.

Parking

It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that the Band is provided with sufficient parking facilities at the Venue for the Band’s vehicle(s). If no free legal parking is available at the Venue, rendering the Band incapable of unloading, or after unloading the Band is unable to secure free legal parking within a ¼ mile radius of the Venue, the Client agrees to pay for any parking expenses thereby incurred. This includes, but is not limited to parking meters, car park fees, parking tickets, wheel clamp removal, impound release fees etc. The Band will make all reasonable attempts to find suitable legal parking wherever possible.

Refreshments

It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that the Band is provided with adequate refreshments throughout their stay at the Venue. The minimum that must be made available is a supply of soft drinks and a meal for all members of the Band. The food that your guests will be eating (such as an evening buffet) is suitable.

Setup and Breakdown

The Band will normally arrive at 6pm to setup and sound-check their equipment. If you require the Band to setup earlier in the day an additional fee may apply.
The Band must be able to safely and conveniently dismantle and load their equipment by midnight unless the Client has requested the Band to stay after midnight for an agreed fee. The band will require approximately 1 hour after the performance to dismantle their equipment and load their vehicle(s). Please ensure that the venue managers are aware of this requirement.

Performance Duration

The Band will perform a total of 120 minutes of live music finishing by Midnight as either 2 sets of 60 minutes with a break in between or 3 sets of 40 minutes with 2 breaks in between unless otherwise agreed. If the Band is unable to setup or start performing at the agreed time for reasons beyond their control they will not be obliged to extend the duration of their performance.
Once the Band’s equipment has been setup and sound-checked, the Band may agree to leave pre-recorded music playing through their PA system before the performance and between sets. The Band will bring a selection of music but will also play the Client’s own compilations should they have a particular preference. It is agreed by the Client that any equipment and instruments of the Band are not available for use by other performers or persons unless otherwise agreed.

Noise Restrictions

While the Band will always try to play at a volume appropriate to the Venue, the minimum level of volume is largely dictated by live drums. If the band is asked to play music at a volume that is below what they are capable of they will have to cease playing and the Client will be liable for the full performance fee.
The band will perform at a venue if a sound limiter is present unless the sound limiter is wired to the mains sockets. If power is cut off to the bands equipment and the equipment subsequently fails, or is deemed to be faulty, the client is liable for the repair costs and / or suitable replacement of such equipment. The band will stop playing immediately when instructed to do so by the client, the venue manager, police, or local council authorities.

Storage and Rest Area

The Client must ensure that there is a separate, dry indoor area for the Band to change in and rest. The area should preferably be lockable. Please note that cloakrooms, tents, kitchens, toilets and bathrooms are not suitable for this purpose unless otherwise agreed.

PA and Lighting

The band will supply their own PA system and lighting equipment suitable for audiences of up to 300 people. For larger audiences the band may need to hire extra PA system equipment at additional cost to the Client.
